Maintenance and Usage Instruction

Natural Characteristics of Wood

Each tree pattern, texture, color, and grain structure is diffirent. Due to the characteristic nature of wood, a grainy, knotted, worm-eaten, or hollow structure may be observed. Deformations caused by time and seasonal changes reflect the naturalness of the wood and allow each product to have a unique identity.

Living Material

Even though the tree has been cut, it continues to live until it completely turns to ash. Therefore, it remains affected by the humidity, temperature, and air circulation in the environment. Due to weather conditions, expansions and contractions may occur on the surface.

Protection from Heat and Moisture

Direct contact of the product with hot surfaces such as a radiator, stove, or other high-temperature items (pots, glasses, teapots, etc.) should be avoided. Coasters should be used with hot and liquid items. In case of liquid spills, it should be wiped immediately with a damp cloth.

Protection from Environmental Factors

Since wood is affected by air changes, it should be protected from direct intense sunlight, areas with air circulation or humidity, impacts, and friction.

Cleaning and Care

Abrasive chemical materials should not be used on the products. Daily cleaning should be done only with a damp, soft-surfaced cloth. A dry and rough cloth may cause scratches on the product.
